What we’ve got coming up to celebrate the launch of our Burford café!
In honour of our latest café we’ve been rustling up some new and exciting recipes to give our menu a bit of extra dazzle! With Burford opened it’s an ideal time for us to get stuck in to some fresh, seasonal and delicious menu creations. Below are some hints – subtle and not so subtle – about what we’ve got planned. We hope this gets your mouth watering and to see you soon!
As many of our Fairford café regulars will know we offer a takeaway range every week, consisting of one wrap and one salad. The food is freshly prepared each day and provides a healthy, portable lunch for someone on the go. This range will be expanding for Burford; two salads and two wraps. There’s no restriction on eating them in either so anyone can enjoy these yummy bundles! We will always have a vegetarian option and are experimenting with vegan ideas in our kitchen at the moment. You’ll find the expanded range at Fairford too, as well as delicious daily specials at Lechlade, so don’t worry if Burford is too far; we’ve got you covered in all directions!
As well as our salads and wraps we’ll also have a couple of lighter options; a granola fruit pot AND a Chia Pudding pot. These cheeky little fellas work well as breakfast on the go or as a healthy snack alternative.
Heard of our Ginger Ninja? It’s a shot of ginger, apple and turmeric otherwise known as pure fire! Previously only served at our Fairford store we’ll be bringing these tiny bonfires to both Lechlade and Burford! Wowzers! And that’s just the beginning. Lynwood&Co will be introducing our own range of freshly made juices to each café. We’re still fine tuning our recipes for these but stay posted; the juices will be coming soon.
On a seasonal note we’ll be changing up a couple of the cakes. The introduction of stone fruits to nature’s offerings means that we’ll be working with the likes of peaches and plums in some of our sweet treats. The kitchen at Lynwood&Co works to a few core values and keeping our food fresh and seasonal is one of them. We’ll be using this blog to keep you updated on all of the changes, introductions and ideas that we have planned; so keep your eye out for ‘new blog alerts’.
